Magnochem - a seal-less chemical pump

Magnochem is a volute casing pump with magnetic drive, available in close-coupled design or back pull-out design, complient with ISO 5199, ISO 2858, API 685 . This seal-less pump is applied for various challenging technological processes, including those of chemical and petrochemical industries where extra protection against leakage is a must. Magnochem is the best pump for handling highly aggressive, toxic, explosive, flammable, malodorous or harmful liquids that are dangerous for the environment and harmful to health.

Magnochem product range

MegaCPK - standardised chemical pump, type OH1 to API 610

MegaCPK, horizontal back pull-out pump, type OH1 to API 610, to DIN EN ISO 2858 / ISO 5199, is used for pumping aggressive organic and inorganic liquids in a wide range of applications. Its modular design allows replacement and repair of pump parts and units without dismantling the pump. The choice of pump material depends on duty conditions and characteristics of the handled fluid. The low NPSH prevents the occurrence of cavitation and makes the operation of the pump vibration-stable and quiet.

RPH - standard process pump to API 610

RPH, a double volute casing pump, is designed for heavy-duty operation. It is popular with mechanics worldwide for its reliability, robustness, safety and ease at maintenance.  The selection of material design of these pumps depends on aggressiveness and temperature of the transferred fluid, ranging from -70 to +450°C. RPH is available at around 70 hydraulic configurations. The scope of RPH applications includes airport fueling complexes, sulfur production units, catalytic reforming and cracking, handling crude oil, brine water and hydrocarbons, ammonia and urea, and many other applications and processes with supercritical fluid parameters.

RPH - Horizontal radially split volute casing pump in back pull-out design, to API 610, ISO 13709 (heavy duty), type OH2, single-stage, with single-suction radial impeller and centreline pump feet; with inducer if required. ATEX-compliant version available.

RPHb/RPHd/RPHbd - type BB2 to API 610, with oppositely positioned impellers, radially split between-bearings volute casing and centreline pump feet. These pumps provide high head values up to 800 meters and flow rates of up to 6000 m³/h.

RPH-V - a submersible vertical, single-stage sump pump with a volute casing and radial impeller, type VS4 to API 610. The construction and material design of the pump comply with the requirements of API 610 and ISO 13709. Its hydraulic part is identical to RPH back pull-out pump. A distinctive feature of the RPH-V is special single gas seals.

RPH-LF. Some processes in chemical and petrochemical industries require high pressures but low flow rates. For these purposes, KSB specially developed RPH-LF pump with an open vortex type impeller, providing a maximum head of up to 488 meters. Standardized bearing units for all RPH type ensure the required service life and minimal shaft deflection, reducing vibration and noise and improving the reliability of the mechanical seal. Seal chambers and mechanical seals meet the requirements of API 682.

CHTR - high-pressure barrel-type pump, BB5 to API 610

CHTR pump features radial impellers sequentially arranged and an axial thrust balance unit.  This pump is technologically complex, designed to provide high head values of up to 4000 meters. It finds its application for example in hydrocracking, hydrotreating and delayed coking units and others, where technological processes run at high temperatures and pressures.

CHTR - barrel pull-out pump, BB5 to API 610

CHTRa - heavy duty BB3 process pump to API 610 / ISO 13709

CHTRa, compliant with API 610 and NACE, is horizontal axially split multi-stage between-bearing volute casing BB3 process pump for high pressures, maximum performance and corrosion resistance. Back-to-back impeller arrangement balances axial thrust while optimized design increases rigidity, reduces vibrations and thermal expansion during operation. The pump operates efficiently at flow rates up to 1400 m³/h, providing a head of up to 1,550 meters. The unit is quite easy in servicing, and the installation can be carried out without significant capital costs.

These pumps find their application in refineries, petrochemical industry, steam generation, seawater injection in crude oil production and others.
